Why Volunteer?
BORM offers engaging programs for people of all ages and backgrounds, and volunteers play a key role in making these experiences possible. As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to work hands-on with historic artifacts, assist with exhibits, guide visitors through our museum, and support special events that bring railroad history to life.

Who Can Volunteer?
Volunteer positions are open to individuals 18 and older who meet the necessary qualifications. We welcome all applicants, regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or disability.
Volunteer Opportunities:

Educational Docent – Lead tours and share the history of railroading with visitors.

Cataloging & Accessioning – Help preserve artifacts by organizing and documenting museum collections.

Exhibits – Assist with the setup, maintenance, and enhancement of museum displays.
